Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on February 9, 1997 to her natural Filipino parents. Her mother was on the streets until her three-year-old age, when she was placed to a foster home. Her adoptive parent is an American white man with a military background and her mother is Filipino. The woman claimed that she and her brother who was adopted had suffered abuse since when she was just a kid, up until the point that she joined the military. The family moved to San Francisco for a few months, where they lived with their aunt, before relocating to Texas when she was thirteen due the need of her father to have a bypass procedure. His father didn't stop the psychological abuse, even though she says that physical violence had subsided. In the year she turned 18, Poarch enlisted into the United States Navy. Poarch began her TikTok in the month of April, 2020 and quickly rose to fame. She amassed over 40 million fans within less than 8 months. Poarch posted a range of videos and her one that went on to become most popular was for Millie B's viral hit Soph Aspin Send. A zoomed-in clip of her lip-syncing rhythmically to the melody and jumping in time to it was an extremely viral video which has since become TikTok's most popular video. When she joined TikTok, she created an account on YouTube and a YouTube account, as well as an Twitter one in order to boost the fame of her. Poarch's fame peaked around the month of December in 2020. According to the reports, she piqued two professional Esports team's attention. 100 Thieves and FaZe Clan expressed interest in having her hired as a content creator under the respective brand names.
