Toni Collette has been an Australian actor for over twenty years. She rose to fame through the comedy Muriel's Wedding and gained even greater recognition following the debut of the thriller mystery The Sixth Sense. Her home town, Falls Church, is her home throughout her entire adult life. Her interest in performing and art began at a young age, taking dance classes through the Washington School of Ballet. She was successful in her dancing career due to having performed in several plays during her school days. In high school, she was a part of in all the school's musicals and this is where she made the switch from dancing to acting. She even received her Equity card while performing in an annual summer stock production of Aida. She was a student at Carnegie Mellon University for two years, but dropped out after that to focus on her acting profession. Louisa was brought up in an extended family of four. Lida Wright, her mother was American and Robert Henry Krause, her father, was half Japanese. Nathaniel Krause is her brother and he works in the field of film as director. Krause likes spending most of her spare time with family members traveling to the forest and barbecuing. She loves her brother so much that she's bought a house for him near her house to make it easy for him to come visit. Louisa Krause career At first, she did not act to make money. The goal was to impress serious movie studios. The strategy worked. Her career began in the theatre on Off-Broadway in various productions the most famous that she was a part of were In a Dark Dark House and Les Liaisons Dangereuses both in 2007. The actress began her acting career in films in 2007, with supporting roles in Babysitter, and The Speed of Life. After a 2-year hiatus, her first film roles came in Taking Woodstock & Toe to Toe. After that, she dedicated the next 2 years to short-form films. She is also known for her film work. One of the recent and most renowned films she appeared in was The Girlfriend Experience which was nominated for the famous Golden Globe award playing an actress who played an escort named Anna Garner.
